TMI has developed a fault tolerant internetworking platform composed of a set of proprietary cluster, event and web management applications running atop a GNU/Linux open source platform core. Essentially, the core represents a customized Linux distribution geared specifically for network appliances. The proprietary code developed by TMI does not link with any GPL components of the core and honors the terms of the license. Some minor changes have been made to the core components. Those changes are available here.
